Unity in Diversity of India stimulated by physically challenged and underprivileged children at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya

Today a group of 40 students from Government School for physically challenged and mental retarded students along with their teachers paid visit to Veethi Sankul-Indoor Museum of IGRMS. Todays visit was organized under various programmes and activities as part of communal harmony week celebration in which said group comprising of children with visual, speech and hearing imparity gave a unique experience to museum officials in a way that inspite of variation in way of learning and comprehension their expression was quite similar. While visiting various galleries in Veethi Sankul students set the best example of unity by helping each other in understanding the exhibits on display where visually impaired students using Brail texts and touching exhibits tried to gain the knowledge about various communities in various parts of country, speech and hearing, impaired students look rather interest in gallery on Bio-cultural evolution and seen discussing the exhibits.
Posing infornt of cameras and raising of question with help of teacher had been the most satisfactory experience for museum staff on duty, as it brought them a different expertise. At the end of visit children thanked Museum staff with compliment that ‘India is really incredible’ which we witnessed here.
