Weapons are the instruments used either for offence or defense purpose. Iron knife, spear, bent bladed cutting tool, knife, battle axe, iron shield are some of the major weapons collected by IGRMS from different tribal and non tribal communities residing in various parts of the country. Out of the total collection, the maximum numbers of weapons are collected from the Muria, Saora, Toda, Bondo, Kota, and Gadaba etc. tribes residing in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar and Manipur.
