On occasion of inaugurating the photo walk in IGRMS, Bhopal Prof. Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri, Director IGRMS said that Photo walks are essentially walking tours intended for photographers. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, attending a photo walk will inspire you to go out and take more pictures. They’re not only perfect for meeting other camera enthusiasts, but also for honing your skills as a photographer. Mr. Dilip Singh, the joint director of the museum said that photography is an important tool, it is very close to the heart and it can be written about different subjects.
On this occasion, the museum photography officer, Mr. Tapas Kumar Biswas said that- We all have the opportunity to meet many camera enthusiasts like you. During this time you as a photographer learning new ideas, and experiencing different places through your camera’s viewfinder. Before you go, find as much information as you can about the places you’ll visit during the photo walk. Learn about the location’s history, the different activities in the area, the iconic spots you’ll encounter along the route, and any other interesting things you might want to capture in your photographs. If you plan accordingly and visualize the shoot, you’ll feel more confident on the walk since you already know what to expect.
